General Questions

What is Screen Print?

Screen print is the most popular and durable method for printing a design onto a t-shirt or any other type of garment by transfering ink using a mesh. Mesh was made out of silk, hence the name silk screen printing. Mesh material is currently made out of polyester. By pressing ink through a mesh using a stencil (usually light sensitive), ink is distrubuted to a variety of print areas, most commonly used, paper and textile.

What is the minimum amount I can order?

Minimum amount is twenty-four pieces. Usually, the more you order the cheaper it gets.

What is the cost?

Pricing is based on multiple factors, such as; type of screen print, apparel brand, quantities and size of garment being printed. Number of print locations. Number of colors used. Going through our ordering process, will narrow down your options.

What is DTF?

Direct transfer film technology has become increasingly popular in recent years. Is excellent for less than a dozen garments with full color designs.
DTF consist of applied high resolution design “ink“ on a film carrier overlay onto a garment by using heat transfer technique.

What is the minimum amount I can order?

No limit. Whether you need one or maybe more, no problem. No job is too big or too small for direct tranfer film.

How many colors can I use on DTF?

Full color (CMYK) designs of complex graphics, preferably saved as vector graphic. Not recomended for large solid designs and small details. Make sure lines are 0.6pt (0.2 mm) minimum. If raster image is provided, make sure it is 300 dpi minimum resolution.

I do not have artwork. What can I do?

If you do not have artwork or a particular design, we can help you at additional cost.

How do I submit artwork?

Preferably, all artwork must be created as a "vector" file, created by a computer program. Commonly known programs are: Affinity Designer, Inkscape and Adobe Illustrator. All lines or strokes have to be expanded in order to preserve desired thickness. If artwork has text, all text must be converted to "line art", "outlines" or "curves". Common vector file types include: .eps (Encapsulated PostScript) and .svg (Scalable Vector Graphics). If artwork is created in an image manipulation program, like Affinity Photo, Gimp or Adobe Photoshop, save it with all "layers" and at least 300 dpi.

Can I make changes to my order?

We can not change it after 24 hrs. from order date. Anything added to the order after the order has started will be considered a new order.

Can I have my prints today?

Our turnaround time is usually seven to fourteen business days. We do offer a rush service at an additional cost, please specify on estimate if you need a rush order.
NOTE: Shipping time is not part of turnaround time. Gabriel screen print is not responsible for any shipping delays caused by the shipping company.

Can I cancel my order?

No cancellations will be allowed if the order is already in production. You will be subject to a 25% restocking fee plus a payment covering any service already started, provided or delivered.

How long does it take to get my order?

After Invoice is signed approved and paid full amount, orders generally takes from seven to fourteen business days. Excludes Saturdays and Sundays.
